Are Airport responsible for lost items?

🛄 Checked Baggage
If your checked baggage is lost, delayed, or damaged, the airline is responsible under the Montreal Convention. You should report the issue immediately upon arrival by completing a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) at the airport's Lost & Found office. Subsequently, you must submit a formal complaint to the airline, typically within 7 days for damage or 21 days for loss. 🧳 Items Lost Within the Airport
For items lost within the airport premises (excluding checked baggage), the SAC Service's Lost & Found office handles these cases. They store found items for up to 20 days.
