Are Airport responsible for lost items?

Kavala (Megas Alexandros) Airport does not assume liability for lost items. Instead:
Items found in the terminal or airport premises are handed over to the airport police’s Lost Property office, which manages their storage and return.
Items left onboard aircraft or delayed in baggage aren’t handled by airport police but by the respective airline’s Lost & Found departments.
