Are Airport responsible for lost items?
-
Mehamn Airport (operated by Avinor) — like other regional airports in Norway — is responsible for items lost within the airport terminal, but not for items lost onboard a plane.
To report a lost item at Mehamn Airport, here’s what you should do: Terminal building: Go to the information desk near baggage claim or check-in area in the main terminal. If nothing is there, staff can connect you to the lost & found via phone or email.
Mehamn Airport (MEH) doesn’t have a separate “Lost & Found” counter like larger airports. Instead, lost or forgotten items are handled via the official Avinor service.
