Are Airport responsible for lost items?
-
Yes —Strigino (Nizhny Novgorod) Airport is responsible for handling lost baggage and personal items, but the airline remains legally liable under Russian law.
As soon as you realize something is missing, head to the Lost & Found Office located in the baggage claim area of Terminal 1 (domestic and international). There, you’ll fill out a written application (Property Irregularity Report or PIR) with your flight documents (boarding pass, baggage tag) and ID.
At Nizhny Novgorod Strigino Airport (GOJ), the Lost & Found desk is located in the main terminal building—Terminal 1—close to the baggage claim and information desk area.
