Are Airport responsible for lost items?

Ostend–Bruges Airport handles responsibility for lost items based on where they were lost:
🏢 1. Items Lost Inside the Terminal
The airport is responsible for items lost in public areas—e.g. cafés, shops, security, waiting areas.
You should contact them at info@ostendairport.aero to report your lost item.
For smaller valuables (like electronics), the security department on the ground floor may hold these. You can reach them at +3259551510.
2. Items Lost On Board an Aircraft
If you lost something on a TUI fly flight, report it at the TUI desk in the departure hall. Their Lost & Found partner “Welcome!” handles the retrieval process.
For other airlines, luggage handlers (Aviation Services Ostend) are responsible. You can reach them at +3259551575 or Ost.ops@aviapartner.aero.
