Are Airport responsible for lost items?
-
Reus Airport does not bear responsibility for items lost in your luggage or on board.
To report a lost item at Reus Airport, follow these clear steps based on where and how the item was lost: 1. Lost on the Plane (Unexpected Items) Contact your airline immediately (e.g., Ryanair, Iberia). The airline’s onboard crew or ground staff must file a Property Irregularity Report (PIR)—this is essential for tracking and retrieval The item may later be handed to Aena’s Lost & Found if recovered—but the airline handles the process first. 2. Lost or Damaged Checked Baggage Go to the baggage service desk in the arrivals hall immediately. Present your baggage tag and flight details. A PIR will be filed and you will be given the report number. Use this for online tracking 3. Items Lost in the Terminal Contact the Aena Lost & Found office: 📞 Day calls (07:00–17:00): +34977778426 📞 Evenings (after 17:00): +34977779811 4. Items Taken by Staff / Lost After Hours Recovered items may be kept at: Aena Lost & Found office (during hours) Town Hall (Ajuntament de Reus) after hours.
